Sandy Beaches

The lake we normally go to has some sandy beaches that I see other boats landing on. I have always been leary to do the same as I am fearful of getting some sand into the impellers. What does the group think? Thanks!:cheers

Not an issue. As you come to the beach, just idle in, and kill the engine while you still have 8" to 10" water under you... and just cost in. When you are ready to go... pull it off the beach where you have about 12" water... then fire it up, and go.

As the others mentioned, the key is to NOT accelerate the engine. Idle in, shut it down....
When leaving, Sea Doo says 18 inches of water, but 12 will be fine as long as you are at idle speeds.
