Hey Guys, I purchased a used 2012 RXT IS 260 this year and have a question regarding winterizing it. I have read that you are suppose to expell any water from the external intercooler by removing the outlet hose. On the IS model this looks like a complete nightmare due to it being a tight space. Will flushing the craft with anti-freeze winterize the intercooler? If not, there appears to be a drain port on the starboard side of the intercooler, can I inject a small amount of anti-freeze into this port? Any input is greatly appreciated.. Thanks!

I have a 2014 GTX Limited iS 260. Anything to do with a iS model is not fun. Usually results in removing the top. Last year I paid to have it winterized and I can tell they never removed the hose because of how the hose clamp is positioned.
After searching all over different forums and reading the service bulletin for winterizing, removing that hose is to make sure any condensation is removed. Since liability is on myself this year, I'm going to pull it for peace of mind. I'm also going to put 2 gallons of -100 RV/Marine antifreeze through the flush port. That is a overkill aswell, but for the same price as the -60 I will sleep better when we get -20 to -30 wind chill this winter.
