Just thought I would share some pics of the recent install of the Riva rear exhaust and waterbox. The sound is amazing and the space it frees up is great too. The only thing I did not like in this kit was the rubber gasket is too soft. When you tighten the outlet tip, the gasket squishes out and looks horrible. I had a hard time trusting this to seal out water since sometimes the ski sits in the lake overnight. I decided to trim the excess and seal around it.

Any before/after videos with sound. I'm trying to decide if I want to do this or wait until after the warranty is up.

Just do it, you will love the sound. If you dont want to too loud I would stick with the stock waterbox but the Riva box sounds mean and I am sure I will be turning heads on the water. My ski only has 9 hrs on it and 6 months warranty left. From what my dealer said, it would only hurt your warranty if brp says the mod is what caused the failure. So if your IBR goes out and you have the exhaust done, you will still be fine. However if you drop a piston, they could say it was due to the exhaust and not cover it.

Sounds good, that's what I want as well but would stick to the stock waterbox since I'd use it at a private lake some times. I got the 2 year warranty promotion and only have 2 hours on mine so far, so I've got 23 months of warranty remaining. I may just ride it stock this year and look at the exhaust next summer.

I'll probably add the SCOM this year though since I can unplug that if needed.

How much of a PITA was the install and with the scom, what mph are you seeing. I'm planning on doing the stage 2 kit w/ intake grate, thru-hull and water box once I hit 6-8 hours.

You plan to do anything else to it?

Hit 74 but it was pretty choppy water. The scom was easy and the exhaust just took some time. Nothing too hard. The only other thing I might do at some point is add a intake but not sure what I want to use for that yet. I dont like how Rivas goes on top of the motor.

I just ordered the RIVA Thru hull exhaust kit for my new rxtx 300. Is there any rear trim tab kits compatible with the exhaust cutout?
