RXP Problems

Hey, I am new to this so any help is great. I took two rxp's (05 or 06 models) out to the lake and both crank great out of water, idle at 1800 and rev all the way out. Once you get them into the water, both idle at about 1300 or 1400 rpms, and neither will get higher than 3000 rpms. I didnt do anything to winterize them last year, they have set up with about half a tank in each for seven months. Is it bad gas? injectors dirty? sparkplugs? Please help...

Welcome to the seadoo forum Jasonbs05. I would change the fuel to fresh fuel and, spark plugs as well. Then try it again. Most likely it is the bad fuel from not being stabilized over the winter months. Check all the fluids as well.

I am changing the fuel today and hope to get to the lake this afternoon, weather permitting. I will let you know the outcome...

Thanks for the help, I only ended up changing the spark plugs in both, and they are both running great.
