so i was chanding the seat cover on my rx and when i removed the old oem cover some of the foam being dry and old broke off on the edges from the original seat. wats the best way to fix this problem? should i get foam and cut out peices myself? or should i try and find a new seat foam or?

Typically most people leave the old cover on, if holes tape it.

If its that crappy its prob time for a replacement. I have a silver and a blue one but shipping to canada would be crazy.

you have a 01 rx silver seat? and how much would shipping me to my place? and how much would you sell me your seat for? :)

Yeah that thing is effed.

I need $175 for the seat. It came off a RXX that had the jet trim cover on it new. Well...they put the JT right over the stock cover. The JT one rots off, but the stock cover is brand new under it. You can still see the seams...that will go away after a couple hot days in the sun.

As you know they are big and heavy. I would guess over a $100 to ship to Canada...you would have to find out for sure.

will the seat fit on a 01 rx? and at 175$ sounds good to me, could you check how much the shipping is to montreal? if not il have it shipped to champlain new york, where i can go get it picked up

Sabr...believe me do would I. BUT...these RXXs sat forever and the JT cover was rotten.

Just an FYI to all you RXX fans out there...Gary at Jet Trim WILL make you a replica (well close he messed the scheme on my buddies ski..lol)

Yes...its a 100% fit to the RX...same hull.

I would HIGHLY suggest shipping to NY vs. Canada...it will cost about $65 to NY.

Well, let me rephrase. I want the stuff INSIDE the RXX. The RX, while being a fine ski, never really did it for me.

LOL well we can do that for you...but your gonna have to be good at shoehorning...

I have the MPEM Too...lol

I have also been trying to figure out what type of foam to use for many replacements in my 1996 Challenger. Some "specialists" are trying to talk about open-cell vs closed-cell versions for water saturation issues. I did come across something called EX-DRI that comes in the 30 and 60. 60 is denser and more for the bottom seats. I have NOT bought any yet. More to follow.
