was causes this? I do have premix in motor as this was recommended during break in. Now soon as it starts it runs off. Ideas?

You have an air leak some where. Get a mirror and check the carb base gaskets. One of the gaskets more than likely slipped when you installed the carbs.

Mine ranaway from me once. I changed carb base gaskets, rotary valve cover gasket (big o-ring), exhaust gaskets(because of a water leak),water separator filter and o-ring and haven't had a problem since. When I replaced the rotary valve o-ring there was a small nick in it.

I don't think so. When out of water there is barely any load on it. Check for air leak. Does it runaway all the time out of the water? If not then you can start it then spray carb cleaner at carb base gaskets and see if engine reacts with higher rpm. Do this on a cold motor.

Ok so the stripped impeller is why it ran off in the water which told me I have another problem. So if it won't do it under load how big of a problem is it to fix? Is this something I can live with or needs to be repaired? Talking about the leak. Pretty obvious that I will have to fix the driveline.
