Hello,

My rub-rail (1995 Speedster) has a slight crack in it, and a section about 18 inches long has come out of the track (forward port side). Does anyone have a quick solution to get it squeezed back in? Thanks!

Use a flat screwdriver to push it back in... but the crack isn't easy to deal with. If it's not broke at the nose (where it's bent the most) you could use a rail cover to hold it in place, and cover the crack. (like the one at the rear)

The one on my old sportster was broke, and I found a new one on ebay. BUT... they aren't common. (or cheap)

Sit it out in the sun and let it get warm and soft. Then you can just use your hand or a rubber mallet and pop it back in. Sometimes on hot days mine has a few spots were it starts to come out. Its easy to push back in. If its cracked in half, its going to keep being a pain. I would use a cap ike doc suggested. Ive had a hard time finding the same rail for a decent price. Im think eventually ill replace the whole rail, track and all.
