I was riding the other day and all of a sudden cavitation occurred and my RPM's went way up. It also made a high pitch sound. At full throttle I am usually 66 mph, but now with full throttle I maxed RPM's at around 7200 and max spead of 35 mph. I immediately shut it down and am wondering if it has something to do with the neoprine pump seal/glue tube, wear ring, or motor mounts? Any ideas?
