Heey

today a tryed to start my mercury after i replaced some pieces.

and yes i was one of the happiest guys on the world it worked

BUT and now it comes ..... it was turnig 4000 rpm out of he water of course.

can this be normal because it has no ressistance or is this not normal at all

No, that is not normal. Idle RPM's should be 1100-1200 in or out of the water for a Mercury SportJet engine. There is no variation due to water resistance on the impeller, the computer accommodates that automatically.

Today i started it again and it ran normal

i have to say that the boat did not ran for over a year.

i hope that after many replacements my doo wil hold it for the holiday
