rpm issues

Hi,

We recently purchased a 2002 sportster, on which we rebuilt the carbuerators and jet pumps. We took it out for the first time after the repairs and the boat seems to not go over 10 mph at 4000
Rpms. Can someone please inform me as to what Speed the boat should be travelling at this rpm. Thank you

check the clearance of the wear ring and outside edge of impellor. Nor more than .040/1mm...

Thanks--also one of the engines shuts off at slower speeds for no apparent reason and we are making a huge wake at slow speeds--is there a trim tab somewhere??

We are very new to this and so far are having horrible luck.

from the diagram of both "lt" and "le" models, doesnt show it hav'n a trim assy.
With motor fallen off at idle, might twist the idle screw "clockwise" a tad and/or check compression in that motor.....hopefully, just a setting wrong.
