New to jetboats and am in the process of going through my new-to-me 97 Challenger. Most things seem to be in pretty good shape, but I am swapping out some worn/broken parts (thanks minnetonka4me).
I will be replacing the PTO side shaft boot.
My question is this:
Has/does anyone use Royal Purple Ultra Performance Synthetic grease to lubricate this? All of my searches only come up with Royal Purple oil discussions.

Thanks in advance

Advance auto has green grease brand. Says its waterproof, I use it on the suspension of my dirt bike too. It sees quite a bit of water and seems to do good.

Thanks for the reply. I had an opportunity to try the RP but wanted to see if anyone had any experience with it before I pumped it in. I have an Advance Auto down the street from me too. I'll give it a look and see how it stacks up..

The data sheet doesn't say anything about it being waterproof, so it would be fine for the pto but the front of the impeller and your trailer wheels would be no bueno.
