rough run

Good morning. I j=have a 2010 challenger 180 with the 255 that seems to be acting up. last year it would sputter and did not want to go past 3/4 throttle. i do oil changes twice a year and plugs every season start. Are these units known for fuel/injector issues or spark/coil issues i should look into?

Has your supercharger ever been rebuilt?

the paperwork i got with it shows it was rebuilt at 105 hours and it currently ha 127 on it.

Will she reach max RPMS (7800 - 8000)?

no. it stops at 3/4 around 6500 i believe

after that rpm is when it sputters and almost cuts in and out

What have you tested or replaced since? How old is the fuel?

I did all the plugs and service near the end of the season. I am leaning towards fuel as the boat had not been in the water for 10-11 months before i bought it.

I'd start with removing the old fuel and starting with some fresh fuel for a tank or two. Then check plugs and presence of spark on all 3/6 cylinders when she starts to cut out.
