Rough Idle

I have a 2012 Challenger 180 SP that idles very rough and sounds like it's back firing through the exhaust. When you come off of idle it runs great. Any ideas what might be the problem??

Idle is controlled by computer to the idle bypass valve. It bypasses air into the system when the throttle body is closed.

1) pull and clean it. Make sure it's working
2) Make sure the injectors are firing correctly



This is the kind of repair you really need to have candoo, trust me.

Awesome Sauce! Your halfway there with the candoo. Now I know that here is a bit from the manual that will help too. You can consider reset your TPS.

I am such a naughty person. I keep taking snap shots of my 2006 challenger manual sections. If you are premium member you can get access to the manuals here. Or search online for seadoo manuals. I bought mine as a PDF. Hopefully that TPS procedure is helpful.
