Need some help, I have a rotax 532 that i got from someone else that had the engine rebuilt. The engine runs good from idle to about 3/4 throttle, then it starts to bog down and sounds like it is skipping. I have changed the coil and cdi box on the side of the engine and still no help. Carbs are cleaned and been adjusted in every way. If the timing was off or the rotary valve was not set right would it cause this problem? This engine is mounted in my hovercraft but I wanted to get some info off this forum. Anyone have some ideas?
Thanks,
Bill

What are you using for an electrical box...Usually they require the stock MPEM,(Multi Purpose Electronic Control Module). It controls all the functions of the engine from starting, to rev limiter. If you using something different, I'd be lost.

It could be as in most seadoo's it contains the regulator/ rectifier, starter solinoid relay, and most appliciable fuses needed to power your seadoo...but being you have something kinda custom, your guess is as good as mine.

Have you replaced the points & condenser lately? Also, clean the carb.
