I started this in the Talk section by accident and have got no response, so I am starting it again.

Sucked up a rope and boat shut off. Pulled the boat out and took out the rope. Checked to see if it started up, it did. So we put it in the water. Now it won't start. It sounds like it wants to. Any advice?

The line,(ROPE is used to hang people..lol) getting wraped around the impeller shaft shouldn't have caused anything to prevent it from running...yes, replace the fouled spark plugs.

Also have no spark to plugs

We are also not getting any spark to the plugs. Do you think these are two separate problems, or when the rope got stuck it created this. I know we just put all new spark plugs in.

It could be 2 separate problems. Be sure the battery is up to par and the ground wire from the coils is getting a good connection. You might want to remove the spark plug caps and clips and cut off 1/4" from the coil wire. use silicone spray to re assemble the caps. Then give it a try.

.......Line is a nautical term....I have heard members call there pwc seadoos a "Bike"...
