i have a 2004 gtx 4 tech supercharged and i rolled it a few weeks back(it ran fine before i rolled it)...I turned it back over (clock-wise direction)and it would only start and idle back to shore...i got it on the trailer and opened the 2 valves in the back and let all the water drain out...then it started up and seemed to be ok...got it back to my house and hooked up the hose and it started up and seemed to run fine..
Well this Sat i took it to the river and before i put it in it started up and seemed to run fine but when i got it in the water it did the same thing would just run at a idle speed no matter if u pushed the throttle all the way down or not...took it out of the water and started it up and it seems have throttle control out of the water and the rpm`s will move but in the water nothing but a idle speed...
anyone ever had this problem?????
thanks
JK

I would change the spark plugs. If you got them fouled than it would cause the problem. If it isn't throwing any codes or beeps it sounds like it is just spark plugs. Use NGK DCPR8E spark plugs Gap is .028in - .031in Keep us posted if this doesn't solve you problem.

i will try that and repost the turn out...i did notice by reading further into this that i did turn it over clockwise...and that is the wrong way..mabe water in the engine

Yes, anytime you do a roll over run it and get it hot before you take it out of the water. Check the oil level too before you run it again and look for any white mix in the oil.( water and oil mixed together) Keep us posted.

Is there water in the oil? You can do this yourself. Do you have a manual? check our library of manuals here in the seadoo forum. If you want you could join as a "premium member". As a premium member you can down load a authentic seadoo manual from the seadoo manual library. In the library is a variety of manuals for almost all years and models. You can view as many as you like on line as a PDF file, or download it and print it for your personal and privet use. There are operator manuals and repair manuals for you to do your own repairs on your seadoo. The repair manuals have everything from troubleshooting, repair procedures to winterizing. It contains wire diagrams torque specs and pictures for disassemble and assemble instructions. In the spec sheets it tells everything needed to maintain oil changes, spark plug gaps, carburetor rebuilds and impeller wear ring tolerances. Click on the "Seadoo Manuals" link at the top of the page for more details. If you need any help or get in a jam, we are always here to answer your questions too.
