Riding the Big Swells

Somewhere in the Pacific Northwest there's a wind warning in effect. With winds gusting from 15 to 25 knots, all boats are off the water ...except for the 3ftDeep Sea-Doos! This ride was a once-a-year blast with 5 to 10 ft waves!

Rough water is my favorite.

Love to get out there on my skis. When it is REAL bad, I 30 foot line and tie it to my jacket. That way if I get tossed off, I can get back to my ski. I have seen guys fall off and simply could not get back as the wind pushed the ski too fast for them to swim to it.

I rode in all weather with this boat for yours...

That would be a totally different ride on a boat! Not sure about the rope, though. I can imagine getting tangled up in it and dragged by my neck.

I'm not suggesting it was the "smartest" thing. But it did give a solution to the issue. I never go out riding without another ski. That solves the rope issue.
