Ive got a 97 SPX

I'm trying to remove the ride plate/shoe.

Ive removed the six screws from underneth and removed the grate.
Is there any other bolts hidden anywhere??

I can get the shoe to move a bit but cant get it 'free' from the hull.

Any help would be much appreciated.

bolts....

I believe there are two bolts that are inside the hull, going into the plate...

I'll check the manual for you..........brb

Looking in the manual, it says that you need to remove the pump, then the six screws. Then (and I hate this word) "pry" the plate loose from the hull. It doesn't seem that you have any screws holding your from the inside, as I do mine.

Because the seal ring of the pump is an integral part of the ride plate, this appears to be why you'll be prying to get it out. It seems like a very snug fit. But, be careful......
