Hey friends,

I have a 1996 Seadoo XP with a fairly stock engine but a good amount of modifications in the handling department.

I recently installed a 1995 XP pump spacer and my trim adjustment now causes my nozzle to make contact with my jet dynamics ride plate. It limits my trim adjustment by about 50%. What ride plate would be the best to swap to? Or should I put a stock one back on?

Current mods on the ski include:
Umi bars and finger throttle on stock steering
Odyssey sponsons
R&D Trim tabs
Jet Dynamics scoop grate
Jet Dynamics ride plate
R&D nozzle 82mm
Skat Trak 17-22 impeller
1995 XP Pump Spacer
21" driveshaft

You should go back to the stock rideplate. Everyone I have ever seen that and these hard always said to never put an extended rideplate on them, just the trim tabs.

Gotcha. That's what I was thinking. This jet dynamics one was on my XP when I bought it, but I've ridden X4's with stock ride plates, and I didn't feel much of a difference.
