Revs but no acceleration Need Help!!!

I'm new to the boards and can use some help! I have a 95 Seadoo XP and just got it out of the shop about a month ago. I had the carbs cleaned, the idle was adjusted, and some work done on the exhaust manifold. It's been running great except for yesterday. What I am experiencing is that that the XP revs up but it doesn't accelerate and makes a pinging sound that I really didnt hear before. I thought I ran out of gas, but there was a 1/4 tank left and I use premium gas. I had to get towed in and when I got in the bay, there would be flashes of running and idiling ok but when you gave it gas it would just die. I got it on the trailer and when I went to start it, it did the same thing. Could it be the spark plugs or is it something else because I haven't yet changed those out. Any info would be appreciated!

I'm new here too but the first thing I learned is that the grey fuel lines have to be replaced. I did not believe it at first but cleaning the carb won't do any good if those old fuel lines are still in place. I just changed all of mine and still need to clean the carb next week. The grey lines break down on the inside and leave the carb and filters and fuel selector valve full of goo.
