Reverse gate powder coat

Hello All,

After having one to many people determine that the reverse gate looks like a good stepping point I have decided to powder coat bright yellow to make it stand out. My question is has anyone done this and does the powder coating hold up?
Thanks,
Mike

Most Seadoos have a boarding ladder mid-transom.

Instruct boarders how NOT to board. Slip and fall, striking face on the way down.

The reverse gate was never designed as a boarding step. If it were to break, all kinds of sharp edges. Good luck finding a replacement.

If you are in salt water, no coating is forever. The gate will have to be cleaned down to CLEAN bare metal. The coater should be doing the final clean.
