Reverse Gate Issue

Okay so I am pulling a wake boarder with my Islandia and stopped to pull him in and noticed my gate control lever was really loose.... and then I could only reverse. I jump in and find the reverse gate is "stuck" in the down position. When I say stuck, I mean it is drops freely when lifted... I have no control of its position :) At first glance the pin that connects the cable to the gate is gone.

Is this an "easy fix"? Or am I needing to check a whole bunch of things before just replacing the pin in the reverse gate?

You guys are the best and I really appreciate the support on here, so thanks in advance!

Nate

Well... since nobody had ideas on here, I found the shop manual and I guess I'm gonna try just replacing the clevis pin and cotter... hope this works!

Sorry...

I missed the picture post. But yes... it looks like you just need a new pin.

But... I just realized... you should have put this in the Merc section. It's a totally different beast than the Rotax powered boats.
