Does any one know the length of a right hand side reverse cable on a 1996 speedster as mine is very long, doing a big loop in the engine room of a second hand boat. This makes it stiff and the reverse lever has worn out. Will reverse levers off later, or earlier model fit as there is no listing for just the reverse lever, only the whole assembly at the seadoo warehouse for a 1996, but there is a listing for one from 1997.

They look the same from pictures but I don't have any to compare mine with. Have ordered a 1997 lever and hoping for the best as the local dealer wants $1,100 for an assembly. We are talking about a $100 part, maybe should start looking at making them myself as they are not rocket science. CNC is a wonderful thing.

As a last resort you could try E-bay.

I am in Australia and only a few in the US will send overseas, not sure why, might be postal problems as the money is paid before seller sends the item. Big problems with larger items for postage, but this is a small item.
