Requirements to own a PWC

Hi all,

I am looking to buy a Sea Doo Wake 215, but have a couple of questions.

What should I expect in owning a PWC?

1) Insurance? (is this optional?)
2) Fees with the state (license? registration? how often?) -- Texas
3) Maintenance? (monthly? seasonal?)
4) Gas?
5) etc, anything I am missing....

1) Insurance-- I pay $120 a year in california, piece of mind
2) Fees with the state (license? registration- I paid lic/fee $175
3) Maintenance? (monthly? seasonal?)Depends - you tool friendly?
4) Gas- costs me $45 to fill up my seadoo
5) etc, anything I am missing.... Trailer upkeep, tires,grease
