Replacing carbs on 97 GTX

I just had the carks rebuilt on a 97 GTX. When I removed them, I disconnected the cable to the oil pump at the carb, but did not touch the other end. When I reconnect the cable to the carb, is there anything I need to do at the other end of the cable?

The other end of the oil pump cable runs to the PTO (rear) side. Routing shown below.
