Can the quality of aftermarket seat covers be found that are just as good as the original covers?
The original covers on my 97 Speedster seem to be a rubbery high quality fabric. The photos I've seen of aftermarket cover fabric looks to be of a lower quality non-stretchable fabric. Is this true for all available? Or are there different aftermarket seat covers out there with different levels of quality? What company makes the highest quality covers? And how close is the quality to the original?
Thanks

seadooupholster.com uses high quality 4 stretch vinyl. I have looked into his covers a lot and I think that is one of the best ways to go. we are recovering our 96 speedster seats with vinyl from joanns and I wish I had the money just to buy the covers from him because it would be wwwaaaaaayyyyy easier. He also has videos to help you know how to put the covers on and detailed instruction on how to get the seats out. His covers are a great price because he does the sewing and the vinyl is really expensive that he uses.
