Just learned that my MPEM needs replacing. Anybody know of any site where I can find one that is competitively priced? Additionally I read that sometimes it is a simple relay or resistor that goes bad in the models themselves, any thoughts on that?

I appreciate any help in advance!!!!

Same question, except for a 96 Challenger with 787 engine. Also anyone with experience with after market MPEM Kits, and does anyone know where I can find a schematic of the guts of the MPEM and Nippondenso DC-CDI module? (not high-level that calls out Microcontrooler an dmemory blocks, but one with part #s and component values/tolerances. I want to take a crack at designing a replacement. $1000 seems way high for this part!

Y'all need to start a thread in the 2-stroke boat section, also try a listing in the buy, sell, trade section. The short answer is maybe, there is a diode that is known to blow. See you in the correct section.
