Not sure where the old thread was... someone asked for pictures of the replacement buzzer install.
You want to buy RS part 273-068, it is at most radio shack stores, or online. I suggest this part because it is waterproof and threads into the old hole. Other parts are louder, but may wear out due to exposure to the weather, and other parts won't attach the same way.
Install was very easy...
First step: pull out the storage tray from under your dash cover. I don't have one, so no picture of that...
Second step: unscrew the old buzzer and cut the wires at the buzzer:
Third step: strip back and attach the wires from the old buzzer to the new one.
With the above radio shack part, the purple wire goes to the (+) side, and the tan wire goes to BOTH terminals on the (-) side.
Fourth step: push it back into the factory hole and thread on the mounting ring from below. I needed to sand down a bit of the mounting ring to get it to stay put.
Final step: put your storage tray back in.
