Hey guys,
I’ve got a 2008 Challenger 180 and I removed my supercharger, to have it rebuilt. I removed the pcv valve(?) that located just above the supercharger, to make it easier to access the top bolt on my supercharger and the thrust washer fell into my pto. I removed the pto cover and retrieved the washer, but I’ve been told that while I have my pto cover off, I should replace my flywheel bolts with aftermarket arp bolts.
Should I be concerned with replacing these flywheel bolts on a stock 2008 Challenger 180 motor? All of the websites that I’ve found the bolts for sale, all say that the aftermarket bolts are for “modified Sea-Doo 1503cc” motors, endurance, closed course and HydroDrag race craft. My motor is only 1494 cc and not modified at all.
Leave the stock bolts or replace ‘em?
