My NAV lights were not working. Traced the problem back to rocker switch. Here is the tear down and repair.
basic switch
Use a finger nail or a screw driver and pry open the catches on the side.
Open two contacts will fall out. Take care one will be slightly more "bent" than the other. That is position two on the switch (NAV). The less bent is position one (ANCHOR).
As you can see the contact plates are dirty. Use a electronics cleaner and a screw driver and clean the carbon scoring on the contacts.
Place the rockers back on the contacts. Pay attention to the which rocker goes with which slot. The two springs on either side are for the LED indication light.
Make sure the rocker lever is place on the switch correctly. For a one position is will move once, for a two position switch it will move twice. On the left side you can see the LED that touches the springs.
