removing my 720 engine (problem)

I have a 720 Im taking it out to have it rebuilt ..

When I went to pull the engine forward ..from the pto the drive shaft came with it I don't have the clearance ..do I take the pto off to remove it from the drive shaft to remove from the boat ? ..And how can I take the pto off..while it's still in the boat..?

I wish there was a vid on removing seadoo engines..nothing that I could find on youtube ..:-(
