To winterize PWC (96&97 GSX) manual says to remove the drain hose, engine water supply hose and engine water return hose, hold them above the tune pipe and pour in antifreeze. sounds simple enough, but if I'm correct in thinking which is the drain hose, (clear plastic hose which connects to the rear of the hull next to the exhaust hose) it is basically impossible to reach the rear of the hull to disconnect it. How do you do this?

Is there an alternative such as just pour anitfreeze in thru the garden hose adapter while the engine is running ?

I'm in Pennsylvania so going to get some signifincant freezes.

That would be a good idea, as it will mix with any trapped water in the cooling system, and not back up into the engine with the engine running.

Thats what I was thinking - run (with fuel stabilizer) with water hose to fog engine, switch over to plumbing antifreeze at the last bit.

Would this sound reasonable?
