Remote control access utopia

Anyone out here know how access the shifter remote to change cables?
Can't reach it through cubby on the gunnel and looks as if the upholstery
would have to be ripped off. Not much for video on this boat on the Internet.

One lever or 2? Does the handle come up vertically or horizontally by drivers' thigh?

You might guess I am not 100% familiar with your boat.
