Reduce Engine Noise in Challenger 180

Seems the engine noise on the 2008 Challenger 180 (215hp) is very loud. Have the same engine in an RXP and it is quieter. Seeking to find the best solution to sound proof the engine compartment that is suitable for marine use. Thank you.

summit racing has the dynomat and others that will give you the results your looking for . had a lady customer use somekind of appliance insulation on hers . ugly but works very well , try to stay away from anykind of uncovered foam as it will burn easy and wile rot and let foam flurries get sucked into the engine . also holds oil and mold rather good . try to get a non foam based mat. your mechanic will love you !
