Just curious, I bought a new rectifier from OSD, for something like $45. Then today I was looking on ebay and thought I would check to see what they have. Tell me I didn't just pay like $30 more, than I could have, for the same part on ebay? lol
Oh and whats up with the screw sticking out of the bottom?

I believe OSD offers better quality product that some of what you'll see on Ebay. If not for companies like them it would be more difficult to keep these old skis on th water. At least you can get in touch with them. :D

Yeah that's why I just bought it from them, I thought they had pretty good pricing on the kits they put together. Like their back to oem carb kits.
But I was shocked to see, what looks like the same exact rectifier on ebay for $12-15
I'm not necessarily trying to bash OSD, They do have some good deals on their kits.
Its probably more my fault for not checking around 1st.
Yes you are right about having a place like OSD to go to when in need of parts.

Yea it is enticing but never buy the cheap stuff. Too bad the onl measure we have is price and we can't hold it in our hand. :D Like Brush kits for the Starters, there are $20 kits and $40 kits. I recently bought a $40 kit and I didn't notice much of a difference and I got less parts in the $40 kit. All I replace generally is the brushes anyway. Good Luck !!

The OSC stuff is always good quality and he stands by his stuff.

For the cheap regulators I have bought a lot from Amazon for like $10 and have only had 2 not work out of the box and only a couple fail.

I only boy ones that actually ship from U.S. addresses, not China.

Was wondering what the screw is on the back side of this replacement, seems kinda odd to have one screw, that I'm not even sure is tight or it isn't countersunk at least. Have you seen any with that screw?

Honestly though, I’m still going to buy from them. They do have some really good deals on there kits.
I’m waiting for them to get one back in stock now, for the bearings on the impeller shaft.

I bought a cheap ebay one and it was DOA. Returned it and bought the one from OSD. Been just fine. Probably some level of incoming inspection or atleast a typically better supplier.

That screw is too small to be a ground and blocked when it is installed. It is just something from manufacturing.
