Received my Jensen Remote MWR150 compared to MWR100 & JWR200

Ok, so as you guys/gals know our boats come new with the Jensen Marine Sirius Radios, and one thing missing was the Remote Control except for the newer 2012 boats, so this is just a comparison and installation guide for them.. this is very rough, but pretty soon Im going to add pictures on the drilling of the hole and so forth.. but here is just opening the box, comparing the various remotes and just for fun and for pictures!

Remember do not get the JWR200 if you have any MSR model Radios (such as the MSR3007), the JWR200 is not compatible with MSR models.

Hey.. Just started getting back on this site.. Sorry I didn't pm you back.. That remote is nice, but I like/prefer the round remote.. Sits nice and flush.. I put mine right by the throttle controls which is perfect.. Plus its right on the angled piece so it faces towards the driver.. Still gotta drill and mount the sirius radio antenna.. Wiring is pretty simple as everything is pretty accessible.. If you need any help let me know..

Love where you put your remote. I tell you though, tomorrow im going out and trying it to see exactly where I like it..

But I have other good news, I havent yet "drilled" any holes, I have it setup with velcro, so my new remote comes with a 20 foot extension which I can bring all the way to my swimming platform.... isnt that cool? In other words I can bring my remote all the way to the swim platform... while everybody swimming in the back I we can change the radio stations and so forth.. lets see how it works tomorrow.

I thought about doing that as well.. Saw it on one of the Seadoo Wake boats that my dealer had.. Thought it was a good idea, only I dont spend a lot of time in the water, listening to radio.. I mostly cruise and jump the waves.. Definately good idea if you do a lot of swimming and hanging in the water..

Yea me too, love cruising and jumping the waves, that scares me about the velcro, lets see how it stands up tomorrow... when im out cruising in the water ill find the perfect place for it..
