RAVE Valve Ports

Hey all, I just finished up cleaning the RAVE valves up on my 2000 XP. I know you are not supposed to drop junk in the ports, but can they be cleaned?

Ports?......

When you say ports, are you talking about the internal porting that operates the RAVE? If so, yes. You can take a can of WD-40 and using that little red straw attachment to the nozzle, give each port a shot for a second or two.:cheers:

Rave ports

If the valves move freely in the ports then I'd leave the ports alone rather than take a chance of debris going into the cylinder. "If it ain't broke....don't fix it" applies here.
