Hi hguys, This is a updated and continuing from my other post. The engine starts and idles rough, I used a spark tester and digital time light/rpm tach. I have swapped cdms (have 6 spares) no change, disconnected each cdm plug while running ,no change. The spark loss is eratic and has no set pattern, It is doing the same for all 6 cyls. Trigger/ignition box?? The parts that are new are ignition controller/stator/temps both heads/tps/air temp sensor. The spark is a good spark when its produced, blue /snap/7/16 jump. The timming is stable except for the loss of spark, what I mean is that its not fluctuating its just not there because no spark/pulse for time light to pickup. I just need to know what would be the most likely component to replace first. Random/partially broken parts are so hard to diagnose!! I wish it would fail 100% or run 100% this chasing conditions that happen at will can drive you nuts!!Thanks Skipper

Searching around for info, I found this from the NGK Spark Plug page..

Over time jet ski spark plugs can deteriorate from producing the spark. When this happens, it changes the spark plug gap causing irregular spark and missing. You don't have to wait to change your plugs. When you do change them, however, wait for the engine to be cold. Do not change them when the engine is hot or warm because it could cause you to cross thread it by putting a cold spark plug in an heated up expanded hole.

Have you changed your plugs since this issue arrived?

Not saying I fully agree with it, but at this point plugs are cheap compared to all you have done...

Sounds like another failing Throttle guardian.

Disconnected the black/yellow wire close to the coils. (should be in one of the plugs directly above, but the 2 boxes) If that clears up the random spark drop... then remove the throttle guardian all together. (should be mounted in the helm)
