I used to use those old "sit and bounce" balls with the little handles and tied up a rop to the handle and to a rock and they worked great (using red for right turns and yellow for left since those were the only 2 available at the time). Someone has stolen them and I really don't want to spend $30 per ball again and not to mention I can only find green ones available. Long story short, what do you guys use as race buoys? Any cheap substitutions? Thanks

I usually invite the neighbors over and tell them to wear RED or YELLOW shower caps...just kidding. I used the green ones too before and had to put Red or Yellow duct tape on them to aid in a visual recognition. Did you goggle it to see what shows up on the Internet? I'll check around too to see if I can find you some.

Thanks, yeah I found an alternative source from Overton's. They have the smaller 9'' red and yellow slalom buoys for less that $5 each so I ordered 16 of them. Thanks
