Your boat is looking good. The seats look nice. I was wondering if you get any water out when you open the drain plug after pulling the boat out of the water?

I get about 1-2 gallons, but I can't see any leaks. I replaced the driveline components too. I am wondering if that is normal.

Might check your WCV and see if it is leaking.

Yep, I'm ready, my boat's on a lift at the lake, just gotta install the battery, drop her in the lake and go....

My ski's are ready almost, I need to install a new fuel baffle in the GSX, the fuel gauge doesn't work but if we get a nice day that can wait.

Lou

It's below freezing, and there is snow on my boat.

So.... nope. Not even close yet. Normally by the end of March, or the beginning of April, the air will stay above freezing, and I will start to prep.

I usually can see about a cup or two of water in my single screw 951 boat, it's got bilge siphons on either side of the pump though so even if there was a leak I doubt there'd be a gallon coming out of the bilge drain plug. Thus no water comes out the drain after hoisting.

I am making good headway but still a long ways to go. Had to send the motor back for warranty on the GTX, parts are still all over my workbench.

SPX has been all cleaned up and just got all the new parts in last week, so I will be re installing the motor and all other components over the next week or so.

The XP still has a carb issue that needs to be sorted out but might have to wait for a water test for that one. The other ones are ready to go.

The good news is, I got a new tool box, so that should speed up production a little.
The reality is that where we ski there is still 3.5 ft of ice, I dont think it will be gone anytime soon.

The issue I see is the tool box has no tools in it, where are they? Also, I hope your doggie doesn't pee on the new box sitting on the floor there. :)

Looks good, those seats looks factory, I like it.

To answer your question, no. But I still have 6 weeks til I'll take the first trip. I don't think a day goes by where someone in our family doesn't say something about "I can't wait for spring to get the boat out"

The boat, 2004 Glastron GX235, gonna put a Clarion new stereo with swim deck remote in (not looking forward to drilling that hole). Plus the alternator was making some noise on my last trip out last year so I'll probably pull it and have it rebuilt before it cost me a weekend on the water. Also I have two new props I'm going to be trying out.

Jet skis (2- X4s and a stand up) all need something, don't they always.... The X4s need to have the head pipes bungs welded correctly and I'm going to add a 3rd bunk to the front of my double trailer for the stand up (planning on posting a build thread on that).

Nice boat and ski!:cheers: yeah the water temps here re still very cold in the 40`s.
had to take advantage of the nice day and get it wet and fire up... pretty soon I`ll be done with the electronics and she`ll be done...

I always have liked that sweeping lok those Glastrons have to them, nice looking boat!

My Sportster should be ready to go, might brush off the battery terminals, remove the plugs and spin it over by hand first. Fuel tank was emptied. Probably April before the water's near warm enough, we'll see. Current water temp is 44*F

Get the Clarion M303 and the MF1 floating remote kit and tie it up somewhere.
