So i asked a buddy to grab me some oil at the local West Marine shop for my 02 RXDI and GTXDI. What he showed up with was a 2.5 gallon Qucksilver Marine Lubricants Premium 2 Cycle Outboard Oil.
On the back it says:
"An exclusive formula designed to help maintain peak engine performance, this ashless dispersant oil helps fight rust, reduce smoke and control deposits that rob your engine of acceleration and power."
"Qucksilver Premium 2-cycle Outboard Oil meets all the requirements of the leading manufacturers or outboards, personal watercraft, snowmobiles, motorcycles, chain saws and other 2-cycle water or iar-coold applications that specify the use of NMMA TC-WII or TC-W3 or API TC oils in eaither premix or oil-injected 2-cycle applications. This Category 3 oil provides protection down to -25 C (-13 F)"
Thoughts? Not sure what to think or if I should have him take it back.
