Quick Connect Flush

Hello, I purchased a GTI SE recently and have a question about a quick connect flush kit. I'm not sure if that's exactly what it's called. I am technically retarded, so I really can't even explain why it's necessary to hook up the hose to this device every time I take my ski out on the water (salt). Salesman wasn't really too explanatory. Anyway, they didn't have any of the devices in stock and said I could easily pick one up at a local marine store. It would need to be forced to fit in the pipe but I don't want to force anything without some feedback as to whether or not this will work. Any feedback is very much appreciated.

That's the baby. What year is your seadoo? You need to put that in you avatar too so we can help out better. If it is a new seadoo that has interloping cooling, you only run it for less than 30 seconds to flush the exhaust system. If you run it any longer on the hose it will over heat then engine as it relies on the water to cool the interloping cooling system that cools the engine. This is all covered in your owners manual. Start the engine than turn on the water. Then shut off the water and than the engine, so the water won't back up into the engine.
