Hi everyone, I am new to the forums and PWC ownership. I have just purchased a 1997 GTX with only 100 hours with the original motor. Compression checks showed both just over 150 PSI.
My questions are what things can be done to keep the ski up and running?
Also I remember seeing something about the acceleration. With this ski there is a lag from when u press the throttle to when u really feel the jolt. What can be done to make it more responsive?
What RPMs is a good cruising amount? I know its somewhat on water conditions but what rpms do you try to stay under? This is just to try to not be too hard on the engine.
Thanks for any help!!!!
