Hello all, I am a total green horn when it comes to PWC, I got my first about a week ago. 1996 Sea Doo SPI. There is what looks like a vent tube on the exhaust, Ok my question is should exhaust come out of the little clear tube that runs to the back of the PWC and exits above the water line? There is another tube just like it coming off the head they both exit out the back.

Tale-Tell?.....

I believe your talking about your "tell-tale" lines. These are lines to allow the operator to know that he has cooling water supplied to his engine, one from the exhaust and one from the head.

If your talking about part #13 from this drawing http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.com/seadooforums/Seadoo_oem/Seadoo_PWC.asp?Type=13&A=33&B=13 then yes, thre should be water flowing while riding.

The "pee" stream will be weak at idle and a good bit stronger when on plane.:cheers:

Tell-Tail lines

Yes the Tell-Tale lines, now I know what to call them thanks! OK, I run the PWC a little on the trailer with no water hook-up just a little to hear it run cause it's winter here and I just got it and well you know it's the kid with new toy thing. OK Question is should exhaust come out of the Tell-Tale line off the exhaust pipe? If its a water jacket then is that a sign it's cracked or broken inside?

i got my seadoo last Jan i know you pain. This is my 2nd winter with the boat egerly waiting for my 2nd summer. trust me it doesnt get any easyer, Its like having a new toy all over again.:cheers:
