question on spark and swappping electic connectors and plug wires challenger 1800

no spark on port motor - star runs fine - I tried to swap the port electic conenctor and plug wires to star motor - but won't start.

I assume the mpem doesn't know port from star?

I can't swap star to port because its too short -

I'll open the mpem box and trace wires today - just looking for input
