Question for twin engine boat owners

So I took the boat out for the first time since I flushed the cooling system and installed the rebuilt superchargers. Boat ran like a beast. I really need to check the speedo against a separate GPS unit as my GPS controlled speedo showed a top speed of 60 mph. Best I could muster prior to the rebuild was 52.

My questions is what do you guys see as far as temps between your two motors? My port motor was running roughly 5 degrees cooler than my starboard motor. There were many times, especially after a high speed run, that the port motor would be at 183 degrees and the starboard was at 188.

On the cool side, the port motor saw as low at 179, while the starboard motor never got below 183.

Anyone else experiencing these differences in engine temps?

I also hate how hot these motors run, but I understand they were designed that way. Just seems kinda hot for me.

The boat gps speedo matched my handheld gps. Nice to see you got a good boost in performance with the rebuild. As far as the engine temps. I know mine do not run the same temp. I forget the difference thou. It will be a couple months the snow melts and the boat is back on the water. Suppose I should send the superchargers off for rebuild as they have almost 80 hours and 4 years on them.

A few degrees difference in the gauges is meaningless. Just go ahead and enjoy your boat.
