Was leaking water out of the weep hole. Disassembled the cover and valve and found that the large clamp had backed off and unscrewed. Diaphram was worn but appears to be no hole yet from the metal spring clamp. Replaced it with a SS wire tie. Assembled everything back together and still was leaking out the weep hole. Was noticing that there seems to be no seal between the plastic part connected to the diaphram and the bore of the body. Looks like there needs to be a way to prevent water coming past the bore. I figured the groove marked in the pic was supposed to have a o-ring to do that. Added one and some grease and reassembled and no leak. Just wanted to verify that’s the way it's supposed to work? If not, what am I missing?
