Question about purchasing a pwc new

Are pwcs purchased new pretty good about not having tons of problems if taken care of or is that something that just comes with owning one? I just dont want to get a new one and have to be working on it on a weekly basis, if thats part of the deal I'll just stick to my used one. Just new to the scene and would like to know what I'm getting myself into

A new ski should be reliable. But, like anything. If you neglect it... you will have problems.

4 strokes require much less work and maintenance than a 2 stroke if that's what you're asking.

Exactly. My friend has a pair of 09 gti's and hasnt had to do a single thing in 2 years except the 10 hour service and normal maintenance.
