question about premix??

Hey guys 97 challenger i want to go to premix let me get this straight all i do is block off the plate,keep the oil line going to rotary valve and run 40:1 is that correct thanks erik

Yep... that's about right. You will need to plug the feed hose that went to the pump... and the 2 nipples on the engine. Then... embrace the smoke (stinky, choking smoke) you will have at idle, or low RPM situations.


Because of that... why would you want to remove the injection system? It's VERY reliable. Just service it, and keep it.

The smoke at idling and slow cruising sucks. I am glad I went through that first tank of pre-mix after servicing the injection system. The hardest part of the injection system is just verifing the oil pump is lined right with a mirror and handing upside down in the compartment.
