I recieved my "anti-rattle cone" that goes on the end of the jet drive. I'll probably replace tomorrow. I have two questions. 1) it calls for a couple different types of loc-tite. One for theill screw, and one on the cone itself where it mates to the pump housing. Do i have to get those exact types of loc-tite, or is there a "one size fits all" loc-tite i can use?And also it talks about a silicone sealer areound the O-ring. Is that the type that hardens like RTV, or silicone like used to lube things??

Sorry i know these are dumb questions. But the directions are sketchy and i don't want my gear oil to drain out while in the water!

i dunno the 2 types of loctite, but loctite is pretty specific. if you use too strong a loctite, you will break small bolts later trying to unbolt them. too weak, and big bolts won't be secure enough. i would get the 2 diff types and use accordingly. silicone? yeah, it is rtv type, not liquid you would squirt around a winshield leak.
